i asked ChatGPT if it could get ads off my TCL but it's a Roku TV which is apparently totally locked down
Huh. Well, you saved me a query. My mother-in-law had a Roku TV that we inherited when she passed. I have it hooked up to AppleTV so I don’t actually use the Roku stuff, but I was thinking about using that as an experiment piece. Oh well.
