I’m not gonna pretend I followed every bit of that as I’m not as tech-savvy as some. Even so, the guys “in charge” of AI development seem far more focused on the boogeyman of China (or just not their company) developing their mythical super intelligence before them. They’re grossly ignoring all safety and ethics concerns in a race toward something they want but no one truly needs (although they’ve done everything to convince us we NEED GenAI when all we know it does is erode human cognitive ability even more).
